Coord Inventory

Overview:
Under minimal supervision, the Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the management of all inventory in Central Supply. This includes but is not limited to:
Inventory put away of all daily bulk deliveries.
Analysis and setting of inventory levels (Min/Max).
Troubleshooting backorder and stockout issues and bringing in substitute product.
5S of storeroom, velocity slotting products based on pull usage.
Performing cycle counts and leading end of year inventory count processes.
Managing daily backorder reports and communicating need for subs.
The Inventory Coordinator will assist with other automated supply projects and warehouse reorganization projects.

Qualifications:Required Education:
High school diploma or GED

Necessary Skills:
1. Ability to effectively document distribution of supplies into and out of automated supply distribution computers.
2. Strong analytical skills in inventory management (Min/Max development), velocity slotting, and optimal pick flow.
3. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Experience:
1-2 years hospital or related experience

Preferred Experience:
One year of warehouse and/or healthcare industry experience.
