Job Description – Coordination Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Coordination Engineer to oversee and manage construction and fit-out projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project management capabilities, effective coordination across multiple teams, and meticulous attention to detail. This role requires excellent communication, exceptional organizational abilities, and proficiency in industry-standard engineering and project management tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineering projects from initial planning through final completion.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain and update all project-related documentation, including drawings, schedules, and progress reports.
• Prepare, monitor, and adjust detailed project timelines to meet required milestones.
• Track project budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure cost efficiency.
• Follow up on site progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
• Assist in contracts and claims management, including preparation and review of related documentation.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering.
• Additional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within construction and fit-out sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in contracts and claims management.
• Previous work experience in Gulf-region projects is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing and coordinating technical drawings.
• Strong command of MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
• Expertise in MS Project or Primavera P6 for planning and scheduling.
