Coordinator, Audio Content

The Audio Content Creation Coordinator position exists to support the Audio Content Creation team by managing and optimizing audio workflows for producers and editors while ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and long-term preservation of the ministry’s audio assets. This role combines strong project coordination, digital asset management, and detail-oriented data stewardship to help deliver high-quality broadcast and podcast content efficiently and accurately.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Aprimo & Product Data Management:
  • Performs Aprimo data entry for daily broadcasts and podcasts, including creating new products and activities
  • Assigns SKUs for broadcast CDs and digital downloads
  • Prepares and distributes broadcast SKU sheets to designated email distribution lists
  • Maintains data accuracy across systems to support reporting, distribution, and fulfillment
  • Digital Asset Management & Archiving:
  • Ingests, catalogs, and maintains audio assets within the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring accurate metadata, consistent naming conventions, and long-term discoverability
  • Maintains the digital archive of all audio content, including masters, raw studio audio, and completed projects
  • Manages the content database to ensure assets are properly organized, searchable, and preserved according to established standards
  • Performs routine audits and quality checks to maintain archive integrity
  • Transcription & Content Documentation:
  • Produces accurate written transcripts, summaries, and other written derivatives of audio content
  • Ensures written materials meet ministry standards for clarity, formatting, and completeness
  • Partners with producers to confirm accuracy of program information and supporting materials
  • Workflow Coordination & Systems Support:
  • Coordinates workflow elements that support editors and producers, helping ensure projects move efficiently through production
  • Creates and maintains Smartsheet for long-form and short-form broadcasts and podcasts, including inputting source codes, activity numbers, offer links, and related data
  • Identifies and resolves workflow gaps or data inconsistencies in partnership with the Audio Content Creation team

Other Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintains Audio Library
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Working Environment/Physical Requirements:

  • Studio environment
  • Occasional lifting, packing, and unpacking of boxes
  • Occasional exposure to fumes from cleaning agents used on audio equipment

Personal Characteristics

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience in Broadcasting or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in radio broadcast/audio production
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows and MS Word
  • Knowledge and experience in problem solving

Skills, Abilities, and Special Talents/Gifts:

Required:

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and workflow tools (e.g., Smartsheet or similar platforms)
  • Strong written communication skills, including transcription and summary writing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with creative and technical teams

Preferred:

  • Experience working with digital asset management systems or large media libraries
  • Familiarity with Aprimo or similar product information management systems
  • Understanding of audio file formats, metadata standards, and archiving best practices
  • Experience assigning or managing SKUs and product data

Pay Range : $18.00 to $21.00
