This is a grant-funded contractual position


Job Role / Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to supervise and monitor the research activities including data collection as well as maintain necessary records, create, and sustain liaison with the relevant stakeholders for the smooth implementation of all necessary activities of the project.

Specific responsibilities include to:

  • Coordinate with Project Leads and PI to facilitate in procurement of assets and supplies as per the requirement of the project;
  • follow the complete process including raising request on system till procurement of asset;
  • coordinate with support department and other stake holders for smooth process;
  • work as a focal person for all maintenance and administrative work;
  • arranging medicines for all research projects from AKU Pharmacy department;
  • coordinate with ware house for issuance of material, equipment, furniture and stock items for field sites;
  • ensure that all supplies and stationary are properly entered in the system;
  • responsible for timely provision of supplies, medicines and stationary as per the request of supervisors;
  • maintain database for the procurement and inventory management;
  • take continuous follow ups from support department for ensuring the completeness of work on time;
  • visit field sites for audit purpose of equipment, medicines, and supplies;
  • upon completion of project or closure of field site, properly take over the items issued as per the database;
  • perform any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:

You should have:

  • Bachelors;
  • two to three years of relevant experience;
  • good networking and interpersonal skills;
  • resilience and ability to cope up with work pressure;
  • good negotiation and management skills;
  • good verbal and written communication skills,
  • willing to travel to field sites on need basis;
  • proficiency in computers especially MS Office;
  • excellent team Player.
