Job Summary:
The Coordinator, Graphic Design will execute the visual design and production of a national magazine across print and digital platforms, developing compelling layouts and digital content while cultivating relationships with photographers and other visual creatives to elevate storytelling and overall visual impact.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage the layout and production of TCI Magazine, working within established templates while continuously identifying opportunities to refine and elevate the visual presentation across issues.
- Translate editorial direction and feedback into thoughtful, polished design solutions – with a willingness to adapt and improve.
- Proactively contribute ideas to enhance the look, feel and functionality of both print and digital content – bringing a creative, solutions-oriented mindset to the role.
- Oversee photo management and print production, ensuring accuracy, quality and adherence to deadlines.
- Prepare and deliver final files for both print and digital.
- Design and produce the TCIA Buyers’ Guide (biannual) and TCI’s media kit (annual), including organizing listings, managing ad placement and maintaining a clean, user-friendly layout.
- Maintain and update the magazine archive on the website, ensuring content is accessible and well organized.
- Support the digital extension of print content to expand reach and engagement.
- Create and design the bi-monthly magazine e-blast, aligning visuals and messaging with editorial priorities.
- Collaborate with editorial, marketing and additional internal teams to ensure content is presented clearly and effectively across platforms.
- Build and maintain relationships with photographers and videographers to strengthen and elevate the magazine’s visual content across print and digital.
- Share published content with contributors and sources to extend reach and encourage engagement.
- Conduct periodic web content audits to improve accuracy, eliminate redundancy and strengthen overall usability.
- Attend industry events, including TCI EXPO, as needed.
- Post “Accident Reports” to the web.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, WordPress, PC, as well as with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Familiarity with SEO is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and HubSpot are a plus.
- Experience with, or interest in, multimedia production is a plus.
- Experience working with content management systems.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects.
- Proven ability to accept constructive feedback and art direction.
- Ability to work closely with team members as well as autonomously.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio spanning both print and digital.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
