The Supplemental Instruction and Programs Coordinator plays a key role in advancing student success at Utah Valley University by developing, coordinating, and assessing academic support programs that help students persist, achieve their educational goals, and thrive in challenging courses. Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and student leaders, this position creates meaningful learning opportunities through supplemental instruction, structured learning assistance, academic recovery initiatives, workshops, and other innovative support programs that enhance the student experience beyond traditional tutoring services.
This position offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on student achievement while contributing to a university culture centered on access, engagement, and academic excellence. The coordinator provides leadership in program development and daily operations, mentors student employees, and helps shape evidence-based strategies that strengthen learning outcomes and support the success of a broad student population.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a directly related field of study and at least 1 year of learning center experience or a combination of education and experience totaling 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited institution with a master’s degree in a directly related field of study and at least 1 year of learning center work or a combination of education and experience totaling 7 years.
