Team Management:
· Oversee and support customer service executives, loading specialists, pricing specialists, and field staff. Provide guidance and resolve shipment-related issues promptly.
· Training new and existing staff on customer service best practices, compliance requirements, and operational procedures.
Customer Engagement:
· Follow up on inquiries and obtain client confirmation for quotes (land freight contracts) via email. For new customers, request trade license/ VAT certificate/ Credit application from finance or sales and check credit limits with finance. If the client is handled by the specialist, request same documents from the customer and communicate management's decision to the client.
Process Compliance:
· Adhere to internal systematic procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure proper briefing of all jobs to reportees. Confirm all shipping documents and supplier details are in order, coordinating with pricing and loading specialists.
Record Maintenance:
· Ensure that team is maintaining comprehensive records of suppliers, drivers, custom clearing agents, lessons learned, and solutions implemented.
Collaboration and Coordination:
· Work closely with other departments such as sales & finance to ensure smooth operation in Land freight department.
