Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lecturer to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in higher education teaching and possess the ability to engage and inspire students in a dynamic learning environment. This position requires expertise in curriculum development and the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard. The Lecturer will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, fostering student engagement, and contributing to the academic community through research and innovative teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging course content that aligns with program objectives and student needs.
• Utilize LMS platforms, including Blackboard, to facilitate online learning and manage course materials.
• Conduct research in relevant fields to enhance course offerings and contribute to academic publications.
• Provide support for adult education initiatives, including adult language education and social work courses.
• Assess student performance through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to promote growth.
• Collaborate with faculty members on curriculum development and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation from all students.
• Utilize learning technology effectively to enhance the educational experience.
• Participate in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field; Ph.D. preferred.
• Proven experience in higher education teaching with a focus on adult learners.
• Strong writing skills for curriculum development and academic research purposes.
• Familiarity with GIS technology is a plus.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and understanding their unique needs.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, particularly those fluent in languages relevant to our student body.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
• Experience in library services or creative writing is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs130,000.00 per year
