Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Administrative and/or coaching experience in the sport of football (student experience may be considered).

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). One (1+) year of full-time administrative and/or coaching experience in the sport of football (student experience may be considered). Experience at the collegiate or professional level. Understanding of NCAA Compliance Rules (played a Division I, II, or III sport, coached in collegiate athletics, or as a staff member in a collegiate athletic program). Previous experience with a Division I Athletic Program. Experience with Recruiting Software programs.

Brief Descriptions of Duties:
The Coordinator of Player Personnel is responsible for assisting with a variety of administrative tasks and player relations associated with the efficient operation of a Division I football program. This position will report directly to the Head Football Coach and will be the primary liaison with various athletic department staff members.
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in coordination the administrative side of the recruiting process, including database management and film evaluations. They will also assist with current player personnel matters, NCAA Compliance and Official Visit planning under the direction of senior staff.
The incumbent will serve as a contact for various Athletic Department support areas and professional scouting personnel in support of program operations and under the direction of senior staff.

Current Player Personnel

  • The incumbent will work under the direction of the Head of Football Coach and will assist with supporting current players regarding their athletic and academic and financial obligations. This includes providing administrative support for professional development for life after college, assisting in the coordination of team community service efforts, and helping to address routine day-to-day needs of student-athletes.

Recruiting Administration

  • This position will assist in the administrative side of the recruitment process. This will involve assisting with the recruiting software programs and subscriptions under the direction of the Head of Football Coach.
  • This position will also be responsible for working with the coaching staff members and assisting in evaluating the recruiting films of prospective student athletes as directed.
  • They will also assist in monitoring permissible recruiting websites at the direction of the coaching staff to provide updates on committed prospects.

Admissions and Financial Aid Liaison

  • This position is responsible for working with the Admissions liaison to assist in monitoring prospective student-athletes and the new student acceptance process, and assist all student-athletes with the application process.
  • The Assistant will also work with the Financial Aid Office to assist in initiating grant-in-aid requests for prospective student-athletes and assist in monitoring current student-athlete grants-in-aid and their student accounts as directed.

Compliance

  • In conjunction with the Compliance Office and in accordance with NCAA regulations, the Assistant will support official/unofficial visits, including supporting student-athlete complimentary ticket requests and assisting in coordinating on-campus visits as directed.

Professional Liaison

  • The Assistant will assist in arranging campus visits with the National Football League personnel and scouts, assisting in sending game films to all NFL teams through the NFL club exchange dub-center, and assisting in coordinating junior and senior Pro-days.

Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.

Special Notes:
This is a part-time appointment. FLSA Non Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
