Job Summary
The Coordinator to Director – Sales & Marketing will provide administrative, operational, and strategic coordination support to the Director in managing sales and marketing activities related to construction materials including steel bars. The role involves communication with clients, coordination with sales teams, preparation of reports, and ensuring smooth execution of sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities1. Coordination & Administrative Support
- Assist the Director Sales & Marketing in daily operational and administrative tasks.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain records of sales and marketing activities.
- Coordinate between sales teams, marketing department, logistics, and management.
2. Sales Support
- Maintain and update sales databases, client records, and lead tracking systems.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow-up communications with customers.
- Assist in managing inquiries related to construction materials such as steel bars, cement, and related products.
3. Market & Client Management
- Communicate with contractors, builders, dealers, and distributors regarding product availability and pricing.
- Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis in the construction materials sector.
- Help identify new potential customers and business opportunities.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for the Director.
- Monitor sales performance and maintain proper documentation of orders and contracts.
- Assist in preparing presentations and strategic reports for management.
5. Marketing Coordination
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and product information distribution.
- Support participation in industry exhibitions, meetings, and promotional events.
6. Internal Communication
- Ensure smooth communication between sales team, production department, and logistics regarding order status and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
- MBA (Marketing) will be an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in sales coordination, preferably in construction materials, steel, or building products industry.
Key Skills
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of construction materials market (especially steel bars)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Report preparation and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Client handling and follow-up skills
