Position Coordinator – Transport

Location Karachi

Qualification Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.

Experience 3 to 5 years in transport operations or fleet supervision.

• Knowledge of national transport regulations, heavy vehicle compliance, and load securing standards.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Problem-solving and quick decision-making under pressure.
• Proficiency in GPS tracking and transport management systems.
• Ability to enforce standards and manage transporter relationships.

Responsibilities

• Review 90-day cargo plans to analyze material types, dimensions, and weight profiles.
• Define truck types and quantities required for each cargo category.
• Forecast fleet requirements for the upcoming 90-day period considering operational constraints.
• Ensure truck configurations comply with RDMC safety standards and legal requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and site logistics teams to validate cargo readiness.
• Provide detailed fleet requirement data to the Scheduler for integration into dispatch plans.
• Recommend strategies for load planning and truck utilization optimization.
