Key Responsibilities

• Perform copper welding, brazing, and soldering for LPG pipelines and fittings
• Install copper pipes for LPG central gas systems in residential, commercial, and industrial projects
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, piping layouts, and isometric diagrams
• Prepare pipes by cutting, bending, cleaning, and aligning before welding
• Ensure all joints are leak-free and pressure-tested as per LPG regulations
• Follow LPG safety standards, fire safety rules, and work permit systems
• Carry out repairs and modifications to existing LPG copper pipelines
• Use appropriate tools such as gas torches, pipe cutters, benders, and testing equipment
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and safety officers
• Maintain proper housekeeping at the work site
• Report defects, material shortages, or safety hazards immediately

Safety Responsibilities

• Strictly comply with LPG safety codes and local authority regulations
• Use required PPE (gloves, goggles, helmet, fire-resistant clothing)
• Ensure safe handling and storage of gas cylinders and welding equipment
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety trainings

Qualifications & Skills

• ITI / Trade Certificate in Welding, Pipe Fitting, or Mechanical Trade (preferred)
• Proven experience in copper welding/brazing for LPG or gas systems
• Knowledge of LPG piping standards and testing procedures
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Good understanding of safety practices related to gas systems
• Physically fit and able to work on construction sites
