Copywriter

Job Purpose

Reporting into the Head of Marketing or as advised by the management, The Arabic Copywriter will be responsible for developing engaging and persuasive copy that effectively communicates our clients' messages and resonates with Arabic-speaking audiences. The ideal candidate is a creative team player, talented wordsmith, and grammar sleuth. You will be responsible for developing marketing and communications content that will separate us from the crowd.


Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for a wide range of marketing materials, including advertisements, social media posts, website content, email campaigns, and print collateral, in Arabic.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Ensure that all content is culturally relevant and resonant with Arabic-speaking audiences, taking into account linguistic nuances, cultural references, and sensitivities.
  • Brand Alignment: Maintain consistency in messaging and tone of voice across all written materials, ensuring alignment with clients' brand guidelines and communication objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and account managers, to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Research: Conduct research on industry trends, target audiences, competitors, and relevant topics to inform content development and ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Proofreading and Editing: Review and edit copy to ensure clarity, coherence, accuracy, and adherence to grammar and style guidelines.
  • Feedback Incorporation: Gather feedback from stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, and incorporate feedback into copy revisions and refinements.
  • Deadline Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to tight deadlines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Advertising
  • 3+ years' of marketing or copywriting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal Arabic and English communication skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
