We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Copywriter to support the Digital Banking team of one of our key banking clients. In this role, you will be embedded within the client’s digital department, working closely with UX designers, product teams, and compliance stakeholders to deliver clear, concise, and customer-centric content across digital platforms.
This position focuses on writing UX and UI content for web and mobile banking services, ensuring that all communication is aligned with the bank’s tone of voice, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop effective, user-friendly copy for:
- Mobile and web interfaces (labels, buttons, error messages, tooltips)
- Customer journeys (onboarding, transactions, payments, KYC flows)
- In-app messaging, service alerts, notifications, and chatbot scripts
- Translate technical or regulatory language into clear, plain language for everyday users
- Collaborate daily with the bank’s:
- UX/UI Designers
- Product Managers
- Legal and Compliance Teams
- Developers and QA
- Contribute to content style guides, tone-of-voice documents, and internal documentation
- Support digital transformation initiatives by auditing and rewriting legacy content
- Ensure all copy meets accessibility (e.g., WCAG), legal, and brand guidelines
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and UX reviews as part of Agile squads
Requirements
Must-Have:
- 3–5 years of professional copywriting experience, ideally within digital or financial services
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX writing, microcopy, or app/web content
- Familiarity with digital banking products and services
- Comfortable working in cross-functional product teams
- Knowledge of writing for accessibility and inclusive design
- Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and tone
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience working directly with enterprise clients or in agency/consulting settings
- Familiarity with UX tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Previous experience in banking or regulated industries
