Job Responsibilities:
- Works without risk or harm to self or others
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures.
- Safely operate both on and off-road vehicles.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Recognize, control, and communicate safety or environmental hazards.
Requirements:
- 3 years or more experience core logging and sampling experience
- B.S. in Geology or similar field
- Knowledge of siliciclastic depositional environments
- Knowledge of skarn Cu/Au mineralization in porphyry environment.
- The individual should demonstrate a high level of energy, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. throughout the day
- Software experience including Leapfrog and Acquire preferred
- Previous mining experience preferred
- Compile and interpret mapping and assay information in 3-D software and correlate it with existing models
- Ability to work independently and also as a member of a team
- Surface MSHA is preferred
- Requires a valid driver's license
