Position Overview

We are hiring a Core PHP Developer (2–2.5 Years Experience) with expertise in OOP-based PHP development, jQuery, MySQL, and third-party integrations. The ideal candidate should be able to work on projects from scratch, integrate RESTful APIs, and deliver secure, optimized applications. Experience with OpenCart and payment gateway integrations will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Core PHP (OOP concepts).
• Build and optimize MySQL databases (queries, joins, indexing, optimization).
• Work with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery to deliver responsive, user-friendly UI.
• Integrate and manage RESTful APIs and third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, SMS, email).
• Customize and enhance OpenCart modules and themes (good to have).
• Design, develop, and deploy applications from scratch, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Write clean, secure, and reusable code with proper documentation.
• Debug, test, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, PMs, QA) for project success.
• Working experience in CI3 and CI4 (good to have)

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of MySQL (queries, joins, stored procedures, optimization).
• Good knowledge of jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Laravel.
• Experience in RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience with payment gateway integrations.
• Familiarity with OpenCart (module customization, extension development) – good to have.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to start projects from scratch and deliver on deadlines.
• Knowledge of Git/version control is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs85,000.00 per month
