Position Overview

We are hiring a Core PHP Developer (3-4 Years Experience) with expertise in OOP-based PHP development, jQuery, MySQL, third-party integrations and payment gateway integrations. Ideal candidate should be able to work on projects from scratch, integrate RESTful APIs, and deliver secure, optimized applications. Experience with CodeIgnitier and Laravel will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Core PHP (OOP concepts).
• Build and optimize MySQL databases (queries, joins, indexing, optimization).
• Work with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery to deliver responsive, user-friendly UI.
• Integrate and manage RESTful APIs and third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, SMS, email).
• Design, develop, and deploy applications from scratch, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Write clean, secure, and reusable code with proper documentation.
• Debug, test, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, PMs, QA) for project success.
• Working experience in CI3 and CI4 (good to have)

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of MySQL (queries, joins, stored procedures, optimization).
• Good knowledge of jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Core Php (custom from scratch).
• Experience in RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience with payment gateway integrations.
• Familiarity with OpenCart (module customization, extension development), CodeIgniter, Laravel – good to have.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to start projects from scratch and deliver on deadlines.
• Knowledge of Git/version control is a plus.
