About this opportunity:
Core Planning Lead is part of MS team who will be leading the planning activities for the fully-fledged virtualized IMS, CS, EPC, UDC, DSC, IP-STP mobile and fixed network.
What you will do:

Managing the customer interface for all planning and design activities and supporting the customer insights to evolve the network.

Building collaborative interfaces with other delivery units involved in network management (Solution, Project, Operations, Optimizations, ….etc.)

Planning and designing network changes for the customer live network, solution and interfaces.

Develop the capacity plan forecast for mobile & fixed core-network elements.
-
Analyzing the new solutions and features to be introduced to the core network elements.
-
Studying and preparing the network impact report for new solutions and features.
-
Assuring the network elements capacities to fulfill the forecasted traffic profiles and plan expansions if required.

Support during major network incidents and coordinating in cooperation with other stakeholders the plans for network changes.

Alignment with solutions and project areas for any network introduced solutions or components.

Propose improvements for the E2E solution, to increase service quality or network maintenance efficiency

Building the comprehensive testing strategies for new solutions and changes introduced to core network.

Manage the optimization of core-network resources through balancing the load across network/sites elements and timer/parameters fine-tuning.

Deliver impact/risk analysis reports for introducing new solutions/services.

Provide recommendations for node/site redundancy improvement.

Presales activities support: Analyze the customer needs and provide support to Pre-Sales team by proposing features and solutions based on the Network Analysis
What you will bring:

7-12 years of experience in the CS & IMS fields.

Strong 3GPP knowledge with 2G/3G/LTE/IMS/EPC.

Good knowledge with cloud computing and virtualization concepts.

Good knowledge with Network protocols: routing protocols, switching protocols, …
-
Communication Engineering graduate.
-
Good command of English (writing & speaking).
-
Any programming language is a plus, preferably Python.
