- Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of corporate matters: e.g., company formation, licensing, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring.
- Draft, review and negotiate corporate agreements: shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, partnership agreements, commercial contracts, etc.
- Ensure compliance with UAE corporate law, commercial law, free‑zone regulation, and other local regulatory frameworks. lawyersuae.com+1
- Advise on corporate governance: board resolutions, meetings, minutes, director duties, business structuring. \
- Conduct legal research on changes in UAE laws/regulations and advise management accordingly. \
- Support risk management: identify legal risks in business operations, contracts, regulatory exposures, and recommend mitigation. lawyersuae.com
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, legal advisors, external law firms as required.
- Possibly lead or mentor junior legal staff (depending on seniority) and contribute to development of legal processes and templates.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised institution. A Master’s in Corporate Law or similar is a plus.
- Admission to practise law (or relevant legal certification/license) as applicable.
- Minimum [e.g., 5‑8] years of experience in corporate law (preferably in the UAE or GCC region) working in a law firm or in‑house legal department.
