Job Overview

A Corporate Advisory Director leads strategic financial advisory services, focusing on high-stakes deals like mergers, acquisitions, capital raises, IPOs, and restructurings for clients in Qatar's dynamic market. This senior role demands expertise in deal execution, client management, and team leadership to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end deal processes, including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, transaction structuring, and negotiations for M&A, financing, or IPOs.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, develop pitches and presentations to win mandates, and provide market insights on capital markets, investor relations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor junior staff, lead business origination efforts, and ensure alignment with strategic goals while managing risks and compliance in Qatar's financial landscape.

Required Qualifications

Typical requirements include 10+ years in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A advisory, plus an advanced degree like an MBA or CFA. Strong skills in financial analysis, stakeholder communication, and sector knowledge (e.g., energy, real estate in Qatar) are essential, along with proven leadership in high-value transactions.

Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in strategic advisory, equity/debt offerings, and cross-selling opportunities with internal teams.
  • Networking with investors, banks, and regulators; experience in roadshows and post-transaction support.
  • Ability to deliver thought leadership, analyze trends, and adapt to Qatar's economic environment, including Vision 2030 initiatives.

Pay: QAR275.00 - QAR375.00 per hour
