In this position, as a key member of the Aviation Maintenance Team, the Corporate Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for and monitor the inspection and maintenance required by the F.A.A and manufacturers for the safe and efficient operation of our company aircraft. This individual will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company aircraft, troubleshooting and correcting any aircraft malfunctions. Work to include but is not limited to pre and post flight inspection forms, discrepancy forms, logbooks and other forms required for documentation, and ensuring maintenance logs are current. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work unconventional hours as needed including weekends. This individual will work as part of a collaborative team that wholistically makes up our Flight Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and inspect company aircraft for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as needed.
  • Correct aircraft malfunctions as required by the F.A.A and manufacturers of the aircraft.
  • Maintain company ground support equipment, hangar, and shop equipment.
  • Comply with all federal, state, local, and foreign regulations as well as company policies and procedures specified in the company operations manual.
  • Continuously strive to maintain a high degree of aeronautical knowledge and skill.
  • Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s safe and efficient operations.
  • Maintain the aircraft in a ready flight state, ensuring the aircraft is properly cleaned and prepared for flight.
  • Engage in effective and thorough communication with the team regarding any discrepancies that arise prior to or during a flight
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Note: Employee's duties and responsibilities are not limited by the above. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by the employee's supervisor. In addition to the basic requirements of the position, all employees are expected to meet the company's goals of continual improvement in the areas of knowledge, skills, processes, and quality.

The position requires the ability to travel as necessary and flexible schedules.
Please Note - Position does not operate on a standard schedule / hours. Will require flexibility including night / weekend availability.
Job / Employment Requirements:
Education and Experience Required
  • Federal Aviation Administration License
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience including 4 years of maintenance experience on mid-large size business type aircraft
  • Experience with Bombardier Global Series (6000) is a plus
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, cross functional environment
  • A valid / unrestricted U.S. Driver’s License
  • Ability to operate a variety of equipment (Scissor Lift, Fuel Truck)
  • Ability to lift / carry up to 50 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary Exempt Position
  • The pay range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000, based on prior experience and certifications.
