Job Purpose / Role:

To build, manage and maintain relationships with corporate banking customers, through selling and cross-selling products and services, as well as providing solutions based on client needs with the objective of achieving sales targets, while ensuring that credit quality is maintained.


Areas of Responsibility:

  • Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
  • Builds relationships with clients that are buyers of financial services through visits to major prospects and existing customers.
  • Develops a thorough understanding of customer’s organization, industry and global practices to maintain proximity to the clients and meet their banking needs and expectations.
  • Identifies revenue opportunities to actively sell Corporate Banking products to corporate banking customers in order to support the sales targets.
  • Maximizes product penetration and cross selling and actively seeks structured finance opportunities in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner.
  • Develops account plans in a consistent and timely manner in order to swiftly follow-up on identified action items
  • Provides inputs and demand insights to the team for loans which are commercially viable and also meet the required market demand.
  • Reviews CAs and approve them as per authority levels in order to ensure quality and completeness of all CAs before sending them to Credit for CA Review.
  • Collaborates with the Credit Analytics Unit and Risk Management on an ongoing basis in order to constantly secure and enhance the quality of the credit portfolio.
  • Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
  • Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Riyad Bank to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
  • Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
  • Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business with preferably a specialization in Finance or Accounting.


Minimum Experience:

  • 4-6 years relevant experience in the banking sector.


Language:

  • English: Advanced.


Technical Knowledge Areas:

  • Knowledge in Corporate Banking products and services.
  • Knowledge in client relationship planning.
  • Ability in business development and planning.
