Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Corporate Civil Lawyer to join our Group of Companies based in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation and corporate legal matters, with strong analytical and courtroom skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analyze civil and corporate legal issues
• Represent the company in court proceedings and negotiate settlements
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, pleadings, and legal notices
• Provide legal advice on civil and corporate matters
• Ensure legal compliance and risk management across the organization
• Collaborate with internal departments and external counsel
• Stay updated on changes in civil and corporate laws

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Admission to the State Bar and in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of experience in civil litigation
• Proven experience handling civil litigation cases
• Strong negotiation and mediation skills
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in handling high-profile civil cases preferred
• Strong ethical and professional conduct
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred
