Corporate Communication Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE :

Support the execution of the organization’s Corporate Communication strategy by assisting in the implementation of communication initiatives and activities. Contribute to internal and external communications, brand management, and event coordination while gaining hands-on experience in corporate communications.

The role operates under supervision, receiving guidance from senior colleagues, and is expected to progressively develop skills while ensuring high-quality support to achieve departmental objectives.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Assist in executing the Corporate Communication strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Support the development of internal and external communication materials, including newsletters, email bulletins, social media content, and website updates.
  • Help coordinate and execute corporate events, campaigns, and engagement initiatives to enhance brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, social media activity, and website performance to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure all communication materials align with brand guidelines by conducting basic content reviews for consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist in responding to internal and external inquiries related to corporate communications and media relations.
  • Support crisis communication efforts by conducting research and assisting in drafting responses under senior team guidance.
  • Maintain and update communication databases, including media contact lists, stakeholder records, and event schedules.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for communication projects, including vendor coordination, report preparation, and budget tracking.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.


Education / Qualifications

Required : Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

Required: 0–2 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role. Previous internship or work experience in a corporate or agency setting is a plus.

Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of corporate branding and digital communication channels.
  • Familiarity with social media management and content creation.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with design and media tools is a plus.
