We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused Junior People Engagement & Corporate Communications Officer to strengthen our internal culture, external corporate presence, and employer brand.
This is a hybrid role combining HR engagement, corporate communications, employer branding, and industry visibility. This is not a sales or marketing position. The role focuses on showcasing engineering excellence, supporting staff engagement, and strengthening SESC’s professional image.
Key Responsibilities
People Engagement & Internal Communications
- Create internal communications from HR and Management
- Support employee engagement initiatives and special occasions
- Engage directly with staff on sites and offices to understand people needs, training gaps input, and engagement opportunities
- Support coordination of staff training with HR
- Maintain HR and Management calendars
- Support ISO documentation awareness and document control
Corporate Communications & Branding
- Manage company social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
- Create professional content aligned with company branding guidelines
- Develop posts highlighting engineers, projects, training, certifications, and industry participation
- Promote thought leadership by encouraging engineers to write articles and sharing technical achievements
- Attend events with engineers and publish related content
- Capture site photos/videos and create engaging content
- Maintain consistent corporate tone and visual identity
- Identify gaps and opportunities to strengthen SESC’s professional presence
Talent Attraction & Industry Engagement
- Create recruitment posts for social media based on HR guidelines
- Research and coordinate: industry events, supplier training, university engagement opportunities, engineering seminars, assist in promoting SESC knowledge and quality within the industry
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Communications, Media, Business, or related field
- 2+ years experience in HR communications, employer branding, corporate communications, or similar hybrid role
- Strong communication skills in English, Arabic is a plus.
- Proven ability to independently create professional digital content using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms, including infographics, corporate presentations, social media creatives, and basic video editing.
- Understanding of branding principles and corporate image
- UAE driving license (mandatory) and willing to visit sites
- Comfortable engaging with staff onsite and in office environments
- Photography and content creation skills
- Familiarity with ISO environments and document control preferred
- Organized, proactive, people-oriented, confident and creative

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
