Corporate Communications forms a strategic division overseeing the overall communication strategy of the firm. Its main objectives are:

  • Build a strong reputation for the brand via internal and external messaging
  • Tailor communication strategies to support and promote the business and the firm
  • Ensure employee alignment with organizational goals through clear, proactive and effective communication

Corporate Title: VP

Role & Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive external communications strategy, encompassing media relations, social media, employer branding and thought leadership
  • Create and lead a dynamic social media plan, including ideation for new posts, creation of content, building community engagement and tracking performance
  • Manage all aspects of media relations, including proactive media outreach, building strong connect with relevant journalists and media monitoring for story opportunities
  • Champion thought leadership for senior management by seeking suitable opportunities for speaker forums through partnerships and connect with external event platforms
  • Draft strong and impactful content including messages for Leadership Talks, Articles, presentations, etc.
  • Plan and execute impactful campaigns with an objective of promoting Nomura Powai brand internally and in the industry
  • Support the Internal Communications and Branding efforts of Nomura Powai
  • Collaborate with cross-regional teams and contribute to Global Projects and Campaigns



Mind Set:


Domain

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels


Technical

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences, including content for various formats
  • Proven experience in developing and executing social media strategies, including content creation and community management
