CORPORATE CONTROLLER

OUTLINE

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
• Lead preparation of detailed financial reports, statements, and regulatory filings that clearly communicate our financial health to stakeholders.
• Supervise internal controls and implement best practices for financial management, including double entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation procedures.
• Coordinate external audits, liaising with auditors to facilitate smooth review processes while ensuring adherence to all relevant standards.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives to support strategic decision-making across departments.
• Develop and maintain effective cash flow strategies to optimize liquidity and support organizational objectives.
• Monitor compliance with non-profit accounting standards and governmental accounting regulations when applicable.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

• Proven experience in corporate accounting or financial management roles within a Manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods organization .
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance requirements, and regulatory reporting standards.
• Experience managing accounts payable/receivable functions along with payroll processing and cash management activities.
• Excellent financial report writing skills with the ability to analyze data critically for strategic insights.
• Familiarity with public accounting practices and conducting audits a plus, CPA, CIA or CMA designation, a significant plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
