  • Serve as a cross-functional partner who ensures customer commitments are met while supporting new products, seasonal demand, and special programs.
  • Contribute as a frontline leader who models core values and builds a culture of communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do on a Daily Basis
  • Supervise planners and/or planning workflows, ensuring schedules are accurate, communicated, and aligned to customer expectations.

  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Customer Service to resolve order issues and prevent delays.
  • Monitor critical orders and coordinate with Purchasing on material shortages or expedite needs.
  • Maintain production planning tools, reports, capacity models, and system data to ensure visibility and accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to ERP planning parameters—including lead times, order policies, item master accuracy, and inventory settings.
  • Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
  • Generate and maintain the POR (Planned Order Report), capacity plans, and stock order recommendations.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in planning processes, load leveling, and inventory accuracy.
  • Escalate risks or constraints to upper management in a timely manner.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support for planning and production control activities as needed.
What You Will Bring to the Table

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers, reports, and capacity/load data.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and departments.
  • A strong sense of urgency and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Experience with inventory practices, ERP data accuracy, and materials planning best practices.
  • High school diploma required, some college or a bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
