Corporate Counsel

Our Client is a well-established, mission-driven MedTech Company that is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its growing and dynamic legal team. The individual will have the ability to work as a generalist and cross-functionally with internal stakeholders on a variety of legal matters including corporate governance, commercial contracts, data privacy, healthcare regulatory law, M&A, and HR practices. The Company is known for its collaborative and tight-knit work culture that offers fully remote flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements (e.g., vendor, supply, distribution, licensing, consulting)
• Provide legal support to business units including R&D, sales, marketing, and operations.
• Advise on regulatory compliance including but not limited to Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, FDA and other applicable healthcare regulations.
• Assist with due diligence, deal structuring, and integration activities for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
• Advise on risk mitigation strategies and insurance matters.
• Support various employment and HR matters as they arise.

Requirements:

• JD with 5-10 years of legal experience.
• Knowledge of Healthcare compliance, M&A, and commercial contracts.
• Medical Device, Healthcare, or Life Sciences Industry experience.
• Law Firm and In-House experinece.
• A can-do attitude who can work collaboratively with various levels of employees.
• Excellent organizational skills, creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience with the life sciences industry preferred.
