Job Description:

POSITION PURPOSE
As a member of the Litigation & IP Team in the Legal Department, the Corporate Counsel, Litigation serves as a trusted legal advisor to the organization, providing expert counsel and managing legal claims and litigation across multiple jurisdictions. This role supports strategic litigation planning, manages outside counsel, litigation budget management, and ensures the company¿s interests are protected while mitigating legal risks. The Corporate Counsel partners closely with business units, RD&I, and HR to align legal strategies with organizational goals in coordination with the Assistant General Counsel, IP & Litigation, and the Legal Manager, Litigation.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, manage, and resolve litigation and pre-litigation matters, including construction and product liability litigation, commercial disputes, and employment-related claims.

Develop litigation strategies, conduct discovery, and provide hands-on advocacy as needed.

Manage relationships with outside counsel, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality representation.

Provide risk assessments and recommend settlement, trial or arbitration strategies to leadership.

Prepare corporate witnesses for deposition and testimony.

Develop internal policies, training, and playbooks for litigation readiness and product safety.

Collaborate with business and RD&I to support product development and product safety.

Coordinate work with the Legal Manager, Litigation, and the Assistant General Counsel, Litigation & IP.

Perform other projects depending on the needs of the Legal Department

Anticipate and assess emerging legal risks to proactively safeguard the organization¿s interests.

Promote a culture of compliance and legal risk awareness across all departments.

Drive continuous improvement of legal department workflows, policies, and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, SKILL AND/OR COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Law degree from an accredited law school and active license in relevant jurisdiction.

At least 5-10 years of litigation or litigation management experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

Expertise in construction, products liability, or commercial litigation preferred.

Demonstrated experience managing outside counsel and significant case portfolios.

Strong litigation management, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

Excellent business judgment with ability to align legal advice with company strategy.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

COMPENSATION:
Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.

Pay Range:

$131,540.00 - $210,460.00

**PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
