Corporate Counsel for Contracts -- Automotive Manufacturing (34738)

An international automotive manufacturing company in the Plymouth, MI area is seeking an Corporate Counsel responsible for providing legal advice and support relating to contract and legal documents. Sound like the job for you? Read on.

Responsibilities:

- Review contracts and provide markups
- Draft contracts and draft and review other contractual documents when necessary
- Provide advice and counsel to company employees on legal issues related to commercial and transactional documents
- Provide training to employees regarding contract best practices
- Report to General Counsel on ongoing projects and activities
- Manage company's standardized contracts

- Monitor the company's contract lifecycle management software

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor is required
- At least 5 years experience reviewing contracts and providing advice and counsel

-At least 3 years of experience in automotive industry
-Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
