CORPORATE COUNSEL – IT OPERATIONS

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Corporate Counsel-IT Operations to join our Legal department. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the technology/IT team as well as hotels in the field, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role

Responsibilities include primary legal support for the global technology team. This includes drafting and negotiating software, hardware and technology services agreements and advising on legal questions raised by technology colleagues. Additional responsibilities include advising on data privacy language in vendor and sales agreements. This role will be part of a larger team but will provide direct legal guidance to clients, including on the following topics:

• Risk in vendor agreements

• Vendor disputes

Experience Required:

• 3+ years of legal experience in either a private law firm or in-house counsel position

• Strong communication (verbal and written), organization, research, interpersonal, and analytic skills

• Experience drafting and negotiating vendor agreements

• Must be collaborative and able to work as part of a team

• Curious problem solver

Experience Preferred:

• Experience advising on data privacy provisions in vendor agreements

• Experience in commercial transactions or disputes, evaluating risk, and providing legal advice directly to clients

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $190,000.

The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including minimum wage rate.
