Corporate Development Representative
to serve as the tip of the spear for our M&A engine.
About the role:
You will be the driving force behind our inorganic growth. Your primary objective is to identify, contact, and engage owners of traditional B2B insurance brokerages to generate interest in a merger or acquisition. You will live on the phones, in email inboxes, and on LinkedIn, acting as the first point of contact between our executive team and potential acquisition targets.

Key Responsibilities:

High-Volume Outbound:
Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (Cold Calling, Emailing, LinkedIn) targeting owners and principals of traditional B2B insurance brokerages.

Pipeline Generation:
Generate high-quality leads and schedule introductory calls for our executive and M&A teams.

Pitch the Vision:
Effectively communicate our unique value proposition: offering a lucrative liquidity event for retiring founders while modernizing their legacy business through our AI platform.

Market Mapping & Research:
Identify and qualify potential target agencies based on premium volume, book-of-business composition (B2B focus), and geographic footprint.

Data Management:
Diligently track all outreach, interactions, and follow-ups within our M&A CRM to ensure a seamless handover to the deal team.

Feedback Loop:
Provide frontline intelligence to our strategy team regarding market sentiment, common objections, and owner pain points.
Who You Are:

Fearless Communicator:
You are incredibly comfortable picking up the phone and cold-calling business owners. You can bypass gatekeepers and command the attention of an agency principal.

Sales/Sourcing DNA:
1–3 years of experience in Sales Development (SDR/BDR), M&A sourcing, recruitment, or financial sales.

Business Acumen:
You possess a high-level understanding of business financials and are comfortable speaking with entrepreneurs about the future of their companies.

Tech-Savvy:
You understand how to leverage modern outreach tools (CRM, sequencing software, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, data enrichment tools).

Previous experience in the insurance industry (P&C) or a basic understanding of insurance brokerage economics.
