To maintain competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a new Corporate Lawyer:


Job purpose:


Support the legal department in various legal matters. The role’s primary responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing contracts, updating litigation logs, following up on litigation cases, and conducting necessary corporate matters.


Key accountabilities and decision ownership:


  • Collaborate with senior lawyers to draft and review a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to, client agreements, vendor contracts, employment contracts, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements, accurately reflect the intentions of the parties involved, and mitigate potential legal risks.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of contracts to identify any ambiguities, inconsistencies, or potential legal issues, and provide recommendations for necessary revisions.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization's approved contract templates and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the proper implementation and utilization of contract templates across the organization.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date litigation log, documenting all ongoing and pending litigation cases.
  • Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders, such as senior lawyers and relevant departments, to gather information and updates regarding litigation cases.
  • Enter and update relevant data in the litigation log, including case details, key dates, and any significant developments or milestones.
  • Assist senior lawyers in monitoring and tracking the progress of litigation cases.
  • Conduct research and gather relevant information to support the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Assist in handling various corporate matters, such as business registrations, licensing, and compliance requirements.


Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in law or any relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience in drafting contracts is a must.
  • Corporate experience is a plus.
  • Fintech background is preferrable.
