Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our Advocate & Legal Consultancy firm in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAE corporate and commercial law, with hands-on experience advising clients on corporate matters and regulatory compliance.

Scope of Work

The Corporate Lawyer will be responsible for handling corporate legal matters, providing legal advice to clients, drafting and reviewing corporate documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable UAE laws and regulations.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice to clients on UAE corporate and commercial law matters.
  • Handle company formation, amendments, restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, and liquidation matters.
  • Draft, review and negotiate corporate and commercial contracts (service agreements, supply agreements, shareholder agreements, NDAs, MOUs, etc.).
  • Prepare clear, practical legal opinions and memos tailored to client objectives.
  • Ensure clients’ compliance with UAE laws, free-zone requirements and regulatory filings.
  • Liaise and coordinate with government authorities, free-zone authorities and other regulators.
  • Maintain accurate legal files, corporate records and document registers.
  • Support senior lawyers and firm management on complex corporate matters and transactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships — act as a trusted adviser, proactively manage client expectations and take steps to improve client satisfaction and retention.
  • Where appropriate, participate in business development activities and client pitches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; LLM or additional qualifications an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years’ corporate law experience in the UAE, preferably in an Advocate & Legal Consultancy or law firm environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE corporate & commercial law, company formation and regulatory frameworks (mainland and free-zones).
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Professionalism, client-service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Admission/registration to practise (or eligibility) is advantageous where required by the role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
