We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Corporate Legal Counsel professional to join our team. This individual will serve as Brio’s in-house legal partner, managing vendor agreements, intellectual property, and compliance across all product lines and business operations. The role provides proactive legal support to product development, procurement, and leadership teams to ensure Brio’s operations align with U.S. and international regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs, OEM agreements, licensing contracts, and supplier or vendor agreements.
  • Coordinate with external counsel on IP filings, trademarks, patents, and dispute resolution.
  • Provide proactive legal support to product development, procurement, and compliance teams.
  • Advise leadership on corporate governance, entity management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support product compliance, labeling requirements, and consumer protection regulations.
  • Manage contract redlining and legal risk assessments to ensure business alignment.
  • Oversee outside counsel and manage legal projects related to commercial, IP, or regulatory issues.
  • Maintain compliance documentation and implement legal best practices throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in the U.S. (California preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of corporate or commercial law experience in-house or at a law firm.
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating vendor, OEM, or licensing contracts.
  • Working knowledge of intellectual property filings, trademarks, and product compliance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple legal matters in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
