Hot Springs Town Attorney

The Town Council for the Town of Hot Springs, Montana is requesting proposals for Professional Legal Attorney services.

The Town Attorney, when required, shall draw for the use of the Council contracts and ordinances for the Town of Hot Springs and when required, give the Mayor or City Council verbal and/or written opinions on questions pertaining to the duties, rights, liabilities and powers of the town. The attorney shall be responsible for prosecuting all violations within the city limits, including violations of state law and city ordinances on behalf of the Town of Hot Springs in City Court.

The Town of Hot Springs has general powers, with the commission executive plan of government, and holds their Council meetings the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. The attorney position is a two year contract. We are looking to fill this position immediately.
