Corporate Paralegal

We are looking for a skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Waltham, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining corporate compliance, overseeing licensing processes, and supporting various legal operations. Responsibilities:
• Establish and dissolve corporate entities as needed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Update and maintain entity records, including minutes, annual reports, and corporate files.
• Obtain and renew operational licenses and permits for the company and its senior living communities.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from corporate departments and field teams regarding legal and licensing matters.
• Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents to support corporate operations.
• Manage corporate compliance processes and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve legal or procedural challenges.
• Support civil litigation efforts, including discovery, trial preparation, and case management.
• Utilize case management software to organize and track legal activities and documentation.
• Participate in special projects related to corporate governance and licensing.
• Proven experience in corporate paralegal work, particularly in compliance and licensing.
• Strong knowledge of discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation processes.
• Familiarity with case management software and tools.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach to record-keeping and legal documentation.
• Knowledge of corporate governance and operational licensing requirements.
• Prior experience in litigation support is a plus.
