In this front-desk role, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and colleagues, helping to create a warm and professional atmosphere. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is important, and previous experience in reception or customer service is a plus. Responsibilities include:
- Answering multi-line phone system
- Directing calls quickly and accurately
- Maintaining Company security by following documented procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean reception area
- Processing and maintaining office equipment including postage meter, fax, and copiers/scanners
This position is also responsible for additional administrative functions across various departments. These include:
- Human Resources administration as needed
- Processing literature requests
- Creating letters and notices
- Proofreading duties for various company literature
- AP Invoice Entry and AR Posting
- All other administrative duties as requested
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of experience in Reception/Customer Service
- Candidates must have excellent verbal communication and listening skills and must always conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism
- Experience with computer based phone transfer is a bonus
- Candidates for this position must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, etc.) Familiarity with other software products is a plus.
- Must be customer focused, have superior organizational skills
- Candidates must maintain strong attention to detail and have the ability to persevere in high demand situations.
- Ability to proof read and update documents is helpful for this position
