Job Purpose
Scaleup Connect is hiring for one of its clients based in the FMCG, gifting, or fragrance industry. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Corporate Sales Lead to lead business development efforts, manage key corporate accounts, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales with excellent client relationship management, strategic thinking, and communication skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify new opportunities, build long-term partnerships, and collaborate across teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve corporate revenue and growth targets. Identify new business opportunities, key accounts, and potential markets. Build long-term relationships with corporate clients and strategic partners. Prepare and present customized proposals, business cases, and pricing models.
Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction. Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations. Handle escalations and resolve client issues promptly to maintain trust and retention. Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to stay ahead. Provide feedback to product and marketing teams for innovation and improvement. Use market insights to refine sales strategies and pricing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing to design campaigns for corporate clients. Collaborate with finance for credit approvals, billing, and payment follow-ups. Coordinate with operations to ensure seamless delivery of services/products to clients. Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings in the corporate gifting space.
Experience Requirements
Required Experience: 5 – 10 Years
4–8 or more years of proven experience in B2B or corporate sales, preferably in the FMCG, gifting, or fragrance industry. Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing key accounts. Demonstrated ability in developing and executing sales strategies, preparing proposals, and conducting effective client negotiations. Experience managing complex sales cycles and long-term client relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong presentation and proposal writing abilities, with attention to detail. Goal-oriented, self-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and familiarity with CRM tools e.g., Salesforce, Zoho. Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and operations teams.
Qualifications
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Strategy is preferred. Additional certifications in sales, negotiation, or customer relationship management will be a plus.
