Corporate Security Manager

Corporate Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the security of personnel, property, and assets. This includes developing and implementing security strategies, managing security leadership teams, overseeing CCTV/access control/intrusion systems, and coordinating with law enforcement. This role also ensures compliance with corporate requirements. This position will also lead efforts with field security leadership teams and collaborate with various departments to maintain a secure environment. Manages all aspects of Asset Protection and Corporate Security Field Operations.

1st Shift - 8:00AM - 4:45PM, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily physical security operations across multiple sites, including the safety of personnel, property, and assets, ensuring protection against illegal activity.
  • Develop & implement a comprehensive security plan, including security audits, inspections, and compliance checks for all sites that complies with corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure local security management teams are recording, investigating, and addressing any unusual incidents within their facility to maintain a secure environment. This includes timely notifications to law enforcement agencies and serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
  • Oversee security audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
  • Advise executive leadership on physical security matters, emerging threats, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with contracted security services to ensure alignment with corporate expectations to ensure the protection of persons and property.
  • Lead the development of security training programs for security teams and related staff.
  • Foster positive relationships and coordinate security efforts with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other companies and customers to align security strategies and activities with organizational goals.
  • Ensure the functionality of all security equipment, including access controls and surveillance cameras, by enforcing preventive maintenance schedules, with the help of Security Operations Center team.
  • Manage the completion of threat assessments for terminated employees, as necessary.
  • Assist in managing the Security Operations Center team with implementation and advancement of technology.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the latest CCTV/Access Control/Intrusion system equipment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of investigative experience, or 7+ years of experience with a major law enforcement, Intelligence, military force, or corporate security.
  • 3+ years of security management experience with a large, multi-national company preferred.
  • Prior experience in personnel management.
  • Program development and project management skills, including the ability to design and implement complex security programs.
  • Experience with key security skills and abilities, including but not limited to, corporate investigations, physical security, executive protection, risk analysis, compliance and emergency management.
  • Experience with domestic and international threat monitoring and analysis, including data retrieval and analysis from Government agencies.
  • Familiar with supply chain security (i.e., logistics, cycle counts, government compliance, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented and have the demonstrated capability to proactively identify and implement initiatives to enhance and improve the effectiveness of the overall facility security program.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of management.
  • Proficient computer skills such as MS/Office/Outlook and Access control and camera systems.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, be self-directed, manage time and multiple projects concurrently.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Prior Security experience preferred to have been in the high tech manufacturing field, with knowledge of guard staffing and utilization, expertise in CCTV, access control, alarm systems, contingency planning, guard management and development
  • Prior experience with Genetec
  • Prior experience with ExacqVision
  • Prior experience with Avigilon
  • Prior experience with ProWatch
  • Prior experience with TAPA
  • Working knowledge of CTPAT in a warehouse environment

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience preferred

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Standard office environment
  • Work weekends and/or overnight shifts as necessary
  • Travel: up to 30-40%
