Corporate Systems Lead

Purpose:

Responsible for designing, integrating and implementing complex technical ICT solutions, ensuring procedures and models for development are up-to-date and comply with the ICT standards.


Responsibilities:

  1. Design, plan, implement and analyse data management solutions to be used in multiple virtual and physical data centers on -premises.
  2. Responsible for the design, testing, implementing and managing the installations of ICT hardware, including servers, data center components and multi-functional devices.
  3. Implement and manage virtualization environments including VMware vCenter and ESXi.
  4. Utilize VMWare Aria Operations for monitoring, maintaining and capacity planning of the VMWare server virtualization environments.
  5. Responsible for data replication between the different sites.
  6. Manage and deploy Windows/Linux operating systems (hardware or virtual servers).
  7. Responsible for Microsoft Active Directory hierarchy, Entra ID, ADFS, Microsoft Entra Connect Sync, DHCP and DNS.
  8. Participate in periodic services disaster recovery drills to ensure that all applications are up-to-date and proactively eliminates potential risks related to any system he/she is handling.
  9. Implement and manage corporate compute and management platforms like Cisco UCS, Dell HCI, Microsoft System Center, and physical servers.
  10. Respond to and resolve production incidents promptly and effectively.
  11. Assist the infrastructure and development teams in resolving issues.
  12. Provide Level 3 support for local and regional operations teams.
  13. Create and update data center documentation to include high-level architecture, procedures and metrics.
  14. Prepare documentation for current and upcoming solutions to provide a reliable reference for other team members.
  15. Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations as required in the conduct of the role.
  16. Ensure timely completion of all relevant AML/CTF training provided by the Group.
  17. Ensure response to AML, CTF & sanctions inquiries in a timely manner.


Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, ITIL certification is preferred.
  2. 5 - 8 years’ experience in maintaining and implementing information technology systems.
  3. Solid experience in:
  4. Virtualization concepts, features, and solutions especially on VMware.
  5. Servers’ hardware vendors like Lenovo, Dell, Cisco, etc.
  6. HCI solutions like Dell HCI solutions.
  7. Microsoft Active Directory environments including directory service, Group policy management, Entra ID, ADFS etc.
  8. Microsoft System Center products especially Operations Manager, and Configurations Manager.
  9. Microsoft cluster service.
  10. Windows and Linux operating system.
  11. Handling printer servers and printer drivers especially Xerox.
  12. Datacenter concepts and technologies.
  13. Experience in the following is a plus:
  14. SQL Server 2016/2019/2022.
  15. Scripting techniques like windows PowerShell and VMWare.
  16. Programming languages (C#, Perl, Python).
  17. Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, Subnetting and Routing
  18. Good command of Arabic and English.
  19. Good communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
  20. Able to build partnerships and work well in teams
  21. Multitasker, with the ability to meet challenging deadlines, and to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  22. Self-motivated and enthusiastic; a creative and resourceful independent thinker.
  23. Flexible in handling new tasks.
  24. Able to identify, recommend, and implement solutions for problems. Capable of making timely decisions and anticipating consequences.
