Job Summary

This is a client-facing role that involves delivering high-quality corporate tax compliance and advisory services. The Consultant / Senior Consultant - Corporate Tax will contribute to a variety of engagements, support senior team members in managing client relationships, and help ensure compliance with local tax regulations. The role offers exposure to diverse industries, cross-border projects, and the opportunity to develop as a trusted tax advisor in Jeddah.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing corporate tax compliance filings for local and international clients.
  • Support tax planning and structuring assignments, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Draft technical deliverables such as tax reports, memoranda, and advisory notes under senior supervision.
  • Conduct research on tax laws, regulatory changes, and emerging market developments.
  • Support client meetings and discussions with tax authorities.
  • Contribute to proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Assist in applying technology and automation tools to enhance tax processes.
Qualifications

Education requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA, ACCA, CTA, ACA, SOCPA or equivalent certification is preferred (in progress or completed).

Work experience requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in corporate tax advisory and compliance.
  • Experience within a Big Four or multinational consultancy environment is an advantage.
  • Exposure to handling client portfolios and supporting complex tax engagements.

Knowledge / Technical Skills:

  • Good knowledge of Saudi Tax and Zakat Law (broader GCC tax knowledge is a plus).
  • Understanding of transfer pricing and international tax concepts (OECD guidelines are an advantage, not mandatory).
  • Strong technical foundation in financial reporting, tax accounting, and drafting tax analyses.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ERP systems or tax automation tools (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
