The firm seeks a full time
Corporate Transactions Manager with experience in M&A to become an integral member of the firm’s highly ranked international Mergers and Acquisitions practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE but are not limited to:- Taking a team-focused and collaborative approach to:
- Supporting attorneys advising M&A clients in connection with some of the world’s most complex transactions
- Communicating with clients, lawyers, corporate service companies and government agencies on a regular basis
- Developing practice area expertise, assisting with business development efforts and contributing to general and practice specific trainings including facilitating the use of AI programs
- Developing professional relationships with clients
- Working in a detail-oriented and organized manner to:
- Prepare, revise and maintain transaction documents, working group lists, workstream trackers and closing checklists
- Perform diligence reviews and maintain virtual data rooms (VDR)
- Ensure compliance with M&A deal procedures and client specific requirements
- Create signature pages and arrange for execution, including via DocuSign
- Form, dissolve and maintain legal entities
- Notarize documents and coordinate Apostille process with Managing Attorney’s Office
- Produce signing and closing sets and coordinate with legal team
REQUIREMENTS:- Minimum five years of related experience in a legal environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling successful and professional communication with clients, attorneys and staff
- Team-oriented mindset as well as the ability to take ownership of professional responsibilities and meet deadlines with minimal oversight and direction
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks under time constraints
- Available to work overtime as necessary to fulfill client and legal team requests
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Excel
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school
