Position Summary:
Incumbent will assist the Correctional Industries Manager Sr in planning, organizing, and directing to provide meaningful and productive work experience and training for unskilled and semi-skilled residents in the assembly, inventory, shipping and receiving, and installation of office furniture, components, and panels systems, for KCI at off-site locations. Incumbent will oversee resident work crews in day-to-day operations of Warehouse 52.

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Qualifications:
Six months of experience in the type of industry to be managed. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements:
Must pass a physical exam, background investigation, submit a State of Kansas Tax Clearance and take and pass a drug screening test approved by the Division of Personnel Services.

Selection Process: Applicants selected for interviews will be evaluated by an interview panel using performance/behavior-based interview questions. The interview panel will make recommendations to the Director for final approval. A second interview may be conducted. Applicants will be subject to background check and criminal history investigation; must pass a drug screen and a TB test unless promoting, transferring, or demoting from another safety sensitive position within the same agency; and possess a valid Driver’s License.
