About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, patient-centered Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high-quality nursing care within a secure correctional healthcare environment in Susanville, CA. This role is ideal for LVNs who excel in fast-paced, structured settings and are motivated by meaningful, mission-driven work. You will perform medication administration, treatments, screenings, monitoring, documentation, and collaborate with nursing and custody staff to ensure safety, compliance, and consistent care delivery. Requirements

• Active California LVN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent LVN experience in correctional, psychiatric, long-term care, urgent care, clinic, or acute-care settings
• Current BLS certification from AHA only
• Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background check and full correctional security clearance
• Strong communication, observation, and de-escalation skills

Travel Contract Details

• 6-month assignment with potential for extension
• Weekly pay with direct deposit
