About the Role:

American Safety & Power Tool (ASPT), a leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial workwear and power tools, is seeking a skilled Cost Accountant. You will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting costs to drive efficiency and profitability within our manufacturing and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Costing: Conduct detailed pre-costing for new products and accurate post-costing analysis for existing product lines.
• Variance Analysis: Perform in-depth variance analysis (Material, Labour, and FOH) to identify discrepancies and report on their causes.
• Cost Controlling: Implement and monitor cost controlling measures to identify savings opportunities and improve profitability.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing costs.
• Management Reporting: Prepare product-wise profit and loss statements to evaluate the profitability of individual SKUs and product lines.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory valuation and reconcile physical stock counts with financial records.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CA Intermediate/ACCA/CMA (Part Qualified/Finalist) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs175,000.00 per month
