Qualifications & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of standard costing, actual costing, variance analysis, inventory accounting, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP FI & CO modules and advanced MS Office application skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial insights effectively.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is an asset


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and analyze product costing, standard costs, and variance analysis (material, labor, and overhead).
  • Monitor and control manufacturing costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare and review monthly cost reports, inventory valuations, and production-related financial analyses.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning activities for the production facility.
  • Partner closely with Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to improve cost transparency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
  • Support internal and external audits related to cost accounting and inventory.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including system enhancements and process optimization.
