Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.

7+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a production environment.

Strong knowledge of standard costing, actual costing, variance analysis, inventory accounting, and manufacturing processes.

Proficiency in SAP FI & CO modules and advanced MS Office application skills.

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial insights effectively.

Fluency in both written and spoken English is an asset
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and analyze product costing, standard costs, and variance analysis (material, labor, and overhead).

Monitor and control manufacturing costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Prepare and review monthly cost reports, inventory valuations, and production-related financial analyses.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning activities for the production facility.

Partner closely with Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to improve cost transparency and accuracy.

Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.

Support internal and external audits related to cost accounting and inventory.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including system enhancements and process optimization.
