This individual will be responsible for developing accurate and data-driven cost estimates based on project scope, specifications, and proposals, using established methodologies and analytical tools.

In this role, you’ll manage the financial aspects of multiple projects—analyzing costs, building estimates, and supporting pricing and proposal development. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and use your analytical expertise to drive informed decisions and ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates and pricing models for projects and proposals.
  • Support financial planning through budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis.
  • Analyze project data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Program Management to validate cost assumptions.
  • Assist with ERP integrations and the automation of cost and pricing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and government cost-accounting regulations (FAR, DFARS, CAS).

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Associate’s degree with equivalent experience considered).
  • 3+ years of cost accounting or cost analysis experience, ideally in a manufacturing or project-based environment.
  • Experience developing cost proposals or pricing for government or commercial contracts.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of cost drivers, financial modeling, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A self-starter who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced settings.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Be part of a collaborative and supportive finance team.
  • Contribute directly to high-impact projects that drive organizational success.
  • Opportunities to grow your analytical and leadership skills in a dynamic environment.
