Job Purpose:
To perform job-card audits, verify parts and labor approvals, and ensure all cost-related activities comply with company SOPs. The role supports accurate cost control, operational transparency, and timely financial reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:1. Job-Card Audit & Verification
- Review and audit all workshop job-cards for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Verify parts used, labor hours, consumables, and additional charges recorded in job-cards.
- Cross-check job-card entries with system data and actual workshop operations.
2. Parts & Labor Approval Verification
- Ensure that all parts, labor, and service approvals are received, documented, and aligned with company and warranty policies.
- Validate that parts are correctly issued, priced, and consumed as per the job requirements.
- Identify discrepancies or unauthorized additions and escalate for correction.
3. Compliance & SOP Alignment
- Ensure all workshop, parts, and cost transactions follow the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Report any non-compliance, process gaps, or deviations for corrective action.
- Support continuous improvement of cost-control procedures and internal controls.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily/weekly audit reports with findings, variances, and recommendations.
- Maintain proper documentation of all audit checks and verified approvals.
- Coordinate with the Finance, Service, and Parts departments for required clarifications.
5. Cost Monitoring & Support
- Assist the Cost Department with reconciliation of parts, labor, and job-card-related expenses.
- Support monthly closing activities by providing accurate cost data.
- Monitor recurring issues to prevent revenue leakage and ensure cost efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years experience in cost auditing, cost control, or service/parts auditing (automotive experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of job-card processes, parts pricing, and labor costing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and workshop management software.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical abilities, and accuracy in verification tasks.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high volumes of workload.
